Common Name: Daylily

  • 6", highly fragrant flowers the color of a tropical sunset: burnt coppery-orange self with a golden orange band and small, deep green throat
  • Petals have prominent gold midribs and tightly ruffled edges; sepals have smooth, gold edges
  • Vigorous grower with healthy dark green foliage

Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).
